Welcome to the 14th Annual Bailey’s Garden Family Fun Run, Walk or Roll! We are excited that you decided to join us and help us continue our mission of providing support to children with disabilities and their families in order to help them lead fuller, happier and more productive lives. The Bailey’s Garden Foundation was established after the completion of a handicapped accessible playground in memory of our daughter, Bailey Teresa Shifrin in 2015.

This year’s event will be more inclusive and includes several new changes (please note that all participants must sign the appropriate race waivers):

1. We are including two new categories for disabled athletes: Wheelchair and Duo Team: -
   1. Wheelchair: Any person with a significant and permanent physical or motor deficiency requiring the use of a wheelchair to compete.
   2. Duo Team Competitor: One able-bodied partner pushing a permanently disabled partner in a wheelchair (the partner does not pay an entry fee).
2. We are expanding the age categories for our younger athletes. These will now include a kids’ ½ mile for competitors ages 5-9 and ages 10–12, 13-15 and 16-19 in order to provide more equitable opportunities to compete against more developmentally appropriate peers.
